A solid basis for working with Statgraphics will be established throughout the whole training. The complete sequence of a data analysis will be practiced. Examples will illustrate the entire process, from the data input to further processing of the output and even the statistical methods. After the training, participants will be able to perform data analysis with Statgraphics by themselfs. They will also master the 'correct' use of the statistical methods. The processes themselfs won't be explained in their mathematical foundations.

• Introduction to basic statistical concepts such as population, sample, data types, distributions and hypothesis testing
• Introduction to the software Statgraphics and its data and graphics management
• Working with the graphical functions of Statgraphics, i.e. generate histograms, box plots and scatter plots
